We, here at High_endLow, find curiosity ignited by the ambiguous, and humor amidst the absurd. Normally we take pride in disseminating our dissidence subliminally. But given the current political climate, and the social unrest as a result of such, we thought it apropos, to be straight forward and coherent about where we stand as a company by making a blatant and bold political statement.
The | ikˈsplisit | kənˈtent | kəˈlekSH(ə)n | (Ex·plic·it Con·tent Col·lec·tion) features a series of custom T-shirts that reference or draw from the Parental Advisory stickers found on "explicit material" as deemed by the state. We have resurrected black political call to action "Black Power", made popular during the cultural revolutions of the 60's civil rights movement. We added to it, the words point-blank to emphasize a directedness that while open to interpretation needs no explanation or qualification.
These are not bad words, nor do they form a bad phrase when they are set together. But to some, unfortunately, the concept is an explicit offensive statement, much like the perception of the people, the statement is intended to implore. We, at High_endLow, are fully aware of the inciting implications that one may draw from this declaration. However, at a time where black lives merely mattering is where the bar is set, ... simply put, We don't care!
This affirmation is intended to foster a state content; of peaceful happiness, it is an expression of satisfaction, self-assuredness, and a decree of sovereign capacity. It is stated clearly and in detail, leaving no room for confusion or doubt.
